Guide to sewing the Anja blouse using your dress pattern

Would you like to sew a blouse using your Anja dress pattern? It’s easy! Just follow these steps to adjust the pattern:

Choose your desired length:
Measure and mark how long you want the blouse to be.

Adjust the pattern:

• Shorten both the front and back pieces by the same amount.

• If you have a fuller bust, you can let the front piece curve slightly, just like the dress.

• Skip the pockets – they’re not needed for the blouse.

Finish the hem: You can choose between two options:

• Simple hem: Fold the lower edge 1.2 cm, then fold another 1.2 cm. Topstitch close to the edge for a clean and elegant finish.

• Elastic hem: Sew a casing along the bottom edge and insert a 3 cm wide elastic. This gives the blouse a soft gathered look.
